Course "Basics of combinatorics and number theory" is designed for first-year students who are actively interested in mathematics.

It consists of two parts: combinatorics and number theory. Its uniqueness lies not only in the breadth of material covered by the base (the number of combinations, Mobius inversion formula, partition, power series, recurrence relations, basic theory of divisibility of deductions, primitive roots, continued fractions), but in the proof of a number of important statements (theorem roots of polynomials modulo a prime asymptotically the distribution of primes, the theorem on Diophantine approximation, transcendental number design).
