The course is designed for first-year students of technical universities. Lectures are read by the associate professor of General Physics in MIPT, alumni of FRTK MIPT, Ovchinkin Vladimir Aleksandrovich. 

This course covers key aspects of modern mechanics, as part of the physical world picture. Such important concepts as the laws of Newton, Kepler, relativistic effects, rotating, non-inertial reference system, oscillations, the motion of fluid and elasticity are explained here in detail.
