Physics. Optics. Lectures

Category: Optics

Course "Physics. Optics "is designed for second-year students of technical universities. Lectures reads Doctor of physico-mathematical sciences, professor of the Moscow Physical-Technical Institute, Honored Scientist of the Russian Federation, the Goat Stanislav Myronovych.

The course examines the key aspects of geometrical and wave optics. Explained in detail how such important concepts as interference, temporal coherence, spatial coherence, diffraction, Fresnel zone, resolution, spatial Fourier transform, the polarization spectrum.

The course consists of 11 lectures. Each lecture contains theoretical material, demonstration experiments, the solution of practical problems. Theoretical calculations carried out with the help of knowledge based on the integral-differential calculus and vector algebra.
